SWAT Crisis - Social Responsibility Swat Crisis is termed as largest humanitarian and displacement crisis in recent times. As military operation continues in Swat, Dir, Buner and adjacent locations, the residents of these areas are migrating to safer regions like Mardan, Charsadda and Peshawar. More than one million people are displaced due to current situation in northern areas of Pakistan; this human crisis is becoming serious day by day. It is our moral and social responsibility to help the affected families in what ever way we can. In this regard, two of our chapter members have already taken initiative. Let’s join hands with them to support their respective initiatives in what ever way we can. The contacts of Maliha Elahi and Faheem Mahmood are as under: Maliha Elahi: 03335123913 Faheem Mahmood: 03008559789 Maliha and Faheem both have done the proper planning to ensure that received donations (cash or otherwise) will reach to the deserving people through right channels. We must come forward and support the affected families in every possible manner and also spread this awareness in our colleagues and organizations to encourage other people. |
